Stacy Koester: President/Founder, Volunteer PI, Search Lead

Stacy Koester is a devoted wife, proud mother of three beautiful daughters, and loving grandmother to two precious granddaughters. By day, she works full time as a warehouse technician, and in the evenings she runs a side business, Soldier Support Apparel, dedicated to showing love and support for her daughter, two sons-in-law, and two nephews—all currently serving in the Armed Forces.

Her compassion and determination are deeply rooted in personal experience. For 31 years, Stacy has lived with the pain of not knowing what happened to a missing loved one. That enduring heartbreak fuels her mission to ensure no other family faces the same uncertainty and anguish.

As the founder of WyoFind, Stacy has transformed her grief into purpose. She has completed extensive training in backcountry search and rescue, first aid and CPR, CalTopo mapping, and private investigations. Through her leadership, empathy, and relentless drive, WyoFind has become a beacon of hope—helping families across Wyoming and beyond search for their missing loved ones and find the answers they deserve.

Dan Stroup: Drone Pilot/Investigator

WyoFind is proud to announce the addition of Dan Stroup to its Board of Directors.

Dan brings more than 23 years of dedicated service with the Gillette Police Department, where he served in a wide range of critical roles throughout his career. His experience includes assignments as a DCI Task Force Officer, Firearms Coordinator, EC/IR Senior Operator, Use of Force Instructor, Computer Forensic Examiner, and Field Training Officer.

In the latter part of his career, Dan served as a detective, where he investigated numerous missing persons cases. This work provided him with extensive insight into investigative strategy, interagency coordination, and the importance of community involvement in locating missing individuals.

He led the acquisition and deployment of a fleet of more than eight drones and oversaw the training of new pilots, significantly enhancing the department’s operational capabilities in search, surveillance, and emergency response.
